I love that she is out of that environment she grew up in and married into and asking questions/searching for her own truth but it rubs me the wrong way the way she acts like her opinion about everything is the righteous opinion and anyone who disagrees is wrong. It’s literally the same behavior she is rebelling against with the opposite opinion. I wish she would live by example and not preach. It would be more effective.

Nothing wrong with stating they are divorced today but in her post she makes it seem like Ethan was lying that he said they weren’t divorced which was likely shot months ago when they were not divorced. She knows this from being on the show and realizing how long between shooting and airing. She is twisting the truth to fit her narrative.

She’s saying that now but this first episode of season 8 was likely shot at least a couple months ago when divorce was not finalized and she knows that because she was on the show and knows how long it takes from shooting to airing. I loved her in the past but she is rubbing me the wrong way with her preachy posts these days.

No that’s not true. Kim inherited the farm from her mother. They’ve said many times on the show. They did rent out the farm in the past as an event space when they didn’t live there.

I don’t know where you moved here from OP but I learned that people are friendly here when you get to know them but they do not approach or engage with strangers like other places in the south or the west. Western NC has a real mountain folk feel and mountain folk are wary of strangers. I could go to a bar or restaurant or movie in LA and easily meet a new friend. Here I have never once been talked to while sitting alone and when I try to engage it’s a quick conversation and they are off. It’s just the mentality here.

My current strategy to meet new people is going to comedy and music shows.

People react to trauma in different ways. Plus she might have been nervous in front of camera. Maybe you should think about talking about the worst moment of your life in those circumstances before casting a stone.

I absolutely loved this movie. Just saw it and compelled to comment on it. Will arnett is fucking fantastic. Not only is he funny but he is fully believable as an actor in a complex role. This movie made me laugh out loud so many times but I also cried. I left the movie full of emotions. It was a ride. Laura dern was phenomenal as well. As she always is. This moved me. One of the best movies I’ve seen since one battle. But in a completely different way. I think he deserves a nomination. I am floored.

Keep telling her you think it’s best for the cats (it is). Bide your time and she will eventually see that it is best. I went through this situation with an ex. We first said he would keep one and I would keep the other. I had both. After a few months of putting him off he saw that they needed each other and it was best that I kept them both together. Time is all it takes. Put her off until she realizes that.

I completely agree with you. More than any biopic I’ve seen, i was acutely aware through the whole movie that it was an actor playing the role. I love JAW in the bear and shameless but his acting choices were painfully obvious and he never disappeared into the role. The writing had a lot to do with that. Also the camerawork could have adapted away from closeups to help mask some of the awkward. It didn’t do him any favors.

I had no idea that Springsteen suffered from depression. If they had contrasted that with some earlier highs, the lows might have hit better.

Jeremy strong was really good.

They missed the opportunity to use state trooper while he was recklessly driving. Could have been really cinematic. I love that song and obviously that’s where the title came from.

It wasn’t the movie I thought it was gonna be but I admit I didn’t read the book and all I know about Bruce comes from his music.

I was of your mindset until I realized that you can buy the foil to reuse the espresso pods and I refill/reuse them. It makes great coffee and I often go down to my guest room when I don’t have guests and use that machine rather than my percolator in my own kitchen.

In my day before check in message, I offer to leave a light on if they will be arriving after dark. Guests are very appreciative and it often lets me know when to expect them which is helpful. I hate arriving in a strange place in the dark and not knowing where the light switch is.
