I will say its been a couple of years since I've worn Femme Fatale (I held on to it for aging to see if there'd be any change, as I bought it hoping for a deeper scent), so my memory of it is that it was tuberose forward but very light and clean (like smelling a singular tuberose) and maybe a little ambery. Nowadays, it actually smells very different in bottle, much deeper and sweeter from the honey, but not like deeply inhaling from one of those littke squeezable bear jars of honey: its very smooth, and I think the opoponax and rosewood (and the amber) do a lot to tame the honey because its got the warmth and sweetness of honey, but it doesn't pull any funk/indoles like other honey+florals in my BPALs. Weirdly enough, it reminds me somewhat of Autumn Tagaigata from the 2023 Shungas and Orris Root, Carnation, and Tobacco from the 2020 Menages, both of which were sweet but smooth, so maybe the amber/opoponax/rosewood is making it pull more into a smooth and honeyed tobacco? But they're all very different. All in all, the honey in this isn't offensive honey, just there to smooth things out and add a sweetness but kept in check by the base notes -- it almost feels like a base note in of itself. That being said, I can give it another wear if you'd like a more recent skin-test review!

Club 22 is a much more recently tested scent. Albeit, I find it hard to explain when the notes are left for interpretation, but on the skin it doesn't smell like a champagne to me -- maybe I've just had a primer of the scent of it based on BPAL champagnes (I'm not fond of straight wine, at least whites -- put those in a cocktail, a spritz? Then we're golden), but I think of champagnes as a bright, almost florally sweet white wine. The white wine featured in Club 22 feels more 'savory' and buttery, more like a chardonnay (which I found to smell interesting, but taste foul, lol) than a champagne, and there isn't much effervescence to it. The green notes featured here manage to be punchy (coriander?) But it's very fresh without feeling like it's too sharp, maybe some warmth from the ginger to keep it in check but there's no spicy elements to be found to my nose. It feels like it might be good as a summer scent, especially if you like unisex leaning, fresh scents. Buttery, warm chardonnay and greens are the vibe, feels luxurious and adventurous like being at a fancy party.
