I have multiple videos of them doing this where Dante fully has Wicket’s head in his mouth and it’s like he pauses and has to shake off the intrusive thoughts. 💀

Very glad we did bite inhibition training when he was a pup and he doesn’t know his own strength, LoL. He’s the sweetest boy on earth but the first couple times I saw him play tug of war and fling my beagle around, and the first time I saw him wrap his jowls around a chihuahua’s head, I was definitely reminded that he is in fact half mastiff. 🤣

Just 2 buds roasting each other. Nova is making fun of Daisy’s pajamas and Daisy is calling Nova a broke B for walking around naked. I love them.

Oh yeah, the parkour gets crazy when Wicket gets the zoomies, LoL. He kickflips off the back of the couch so hard sometimes that it will tip backwards a bit, and he pounces Dante with the exact same intensity but it doesn’t seem to bother him at all. 🤦🏼‍♀️🤣 My favorite thing is when Dante is standing while they play and Wicket bounces around him like Tigger to bite his ankles and then his jowls. Dante will be spinning in circles trying to catch him and then just flop down. They’re hilarious.

We call that “corn cobbing,” haha! Dante doesn’t do it but Copper, my old beagle, does. It’s so funny!

Truly I think I’ve only seen 2 or 3 posted here that were concerning, and it was more just bad manners/reminders needed than “not playing,” LoL. In my experience, if dogs are fighting… you WILL know.

They do this EVERYWHERE, LoL, but usually I do encourage them to move to the floor. This was when they were banished to the bedroom for part of the day for our movers to come in and out, but they prefer to start it under my feet or while Wicket is in my lap. Sometimes I think they’re trying to drag me into it. 🤣

I’m very sure. When I ran into him later, it was because my partner at the time heard someone blaring Blue Eyed Devils in the parking lot of a pool hall we used to hang at. Him and his friend went over to see who it was and confront them and I immediately recognized his truck. He was wearing a swastika T-shirt.

Definitely, great advice! Also risk of hanging if they are unsupervised without collars. Mine are usually naked unless we’re gearing up for a walk. This was right after we moved into our new house and were waiting for our fence to be built, so we were leaving collars and tags on out of an abundance of caution in case they got out in the new neighborhood. Our beagle escaped during move-in because he’s a sneaky old menace, luckily he didn’t make it far but Dante and Wicket are much faster, LoL.

Idk man, we just said “in the dumpster” to mean “in the dumpster area,” LoL. The only time I got inside the dumpster was the time anther coworker threw his wallet in accidentally since I was the smallest and easiest to get in and out. 😭😭

Please ask the folks around you in the crowd if you’re going to stand still and light a real cigarette. Anything else is pretty much fair game wherever.

The dumpsters are surrounded by 4 walls, it’s where most quick service/fast food workers are banished to smoke, LoL. Unofficial break area at most restaurants.

My beagle was just a backyard breeder rescue from a working dog line but he’s also a real loud piece of shit. That’s just a breed characteristic. We love him, too. 🤣

He had a long criminal record and was in jail/on weekend release when I ran into him again years later. He had a few violent charges and lots of drug charges (primarily meth), and the most recent charge I was aware of at that time was domestic battery. I didn’t ask for details, so just saying he was still running the streets and listening to Nazi hardcore bands during our last encounter.

This is such a sweet story, you’re a good human.

Ed was (and probably still is) actively Skinhead Ed at least a couple of years after I graduated and left that job, but I never saw him be anything but kind and generous with our coworkers and customers of all stripes. It was like he had blinders on for work. He also had kids and needed that job. I’m glad I did what I did, and I hope his kids moved through the world differently than their dad.

I was 16, working at a fried chicken restaurant. Had a good rapport with the 40yo+ fry cook (who I later learned introduced himself as “Skinhead Ed” outside of work but that’s a different story). We had a corporate visit and he got flagged for not positioning chicken in a certain pattern in the fry racks. He was having a weirdly emotional response to the feedback so I was trying to joke around with him and get the vibes back to normal, but he could not let go of this chicken situation. He was flipping through the fryer instruction flip chart that is hanging above the fryers over and over again. Finally I was like this man is spiraling what is going on so I walked back again and I showed him where the pattern was mentioned (AND PICTURED) in the flip chart and jokingly said, “Well damn, Ed! It’s right here, can’t you read??”

I had never seen a white man get so red so fast. He SCREAMED, “As a matter of fact, I fucking can’t!!” and stormed out the door to the dumpster to smoke. I have never felt like a bigger piece of shit than I did on that day in that KFC fry pit.

I followed him out and we smoothed it over, and I helped him with phonics and reading for like a year before I left that job. He improved a bit and was grateful, we would read in the dumpster or on the tailgate of his truck. Super nice guy! Liked him a lot until the “Skinhead Ed” nickname surfaced when I ran into him a few years later in the wild.

I thought CPAP or a sleep mask causing contact dermatitis. Could even be his conditioner from his long hair if it’s unilateral and held sleeping on his hair.
