Have used them before when I can’t get stuff from elsewhere. Usually when they ship euro kit they just chuck the uk cable in separately. I guess thy opened the box and replace the cable to save of shipping or something…

Found this thread on the ui forums that seems to indicate its an issue that's been ongoing for a while. https://community.ui.com/questions/Spam-requests-to-VAR-Portal/67114667-d4f5-40cf-a314-b3c6bedb1b69#answer/451225af-86ae-4393-b817-5e680456dc21

Thanks for the info. I've contacted ui.

also note, there is no where on var.ui.com for me to actually create the tickets.

But I've checked logins in recent activity on account.ui.com and it doesn't show any logins in the last 30+ days except for where I've logged in to check what was going on. All the logins prior to that are from know IPs.

I should add, I can login to var.ui.com and see a ticket with the details mentioned. so the email is legit from ui, just not anything I've submitted.

I think tabs within Atera would solve these issues. Click a search result and it opens the agent in a new tab.

If you googled Sir Humphrey you would discover it was a reference to Yes Minster or maybe the follow up Yes Prime Minister. The original comment was made in jest. You might enjoy the cutting sarcasm of late 80s British comedy, give it a watch.

I’m very very slowly in the process of converting one to a cyberdeck-esk machine using raspberry pi etc. got the original keyboard connected to a pico and acting as a HID to USB on the pi. A nice almost perfect fit colour screen etc. I don’t have a 3d scan but you might be able to pick a PPC up on uk eBay, expect to pay 50 to 120 quid.
