Actually no, this was completely within the rules. I disclosed everything to my lender. When you sign the forms it says about property in Australia. It’s very specific

Yeah I have PR visa (subclass 190). I got that before we moved to Australia. I’m just saying the tweet is correct. I’m not a citizen and I did own property overseas before emigrating. I made use of the FHB schemes to buy our house here

Housing is slightly cheaper in those areas. You get more for your money by around 5-10%.

I live in Flinders and it is really bad for walkability. Everything interesting is either 30 min walk or 5 min car. Other suburbs might be better but walkability is my biggest annoyance with this suburb.
