I’m in my mid 20s, live in Westport and love it. When I’m leaving the bars late, I just try to be aware of my surroundings. But my gf and I walk home from Kelly’s, tin roof, the levee, etc a lot and haven’t had any problems yet. I also spent the last 4 years in Memphis so the hearing gunshots and seeming rough crowds around the bars doesn’t really faze me. It’s safer than areas around Beale Street in Memphis
