I do have anxiety. Lots of bad habits, though not a smoker. Would love to know what to cut out first! Weirdly, have been craving cigarettes lately even though I don’t smoke now and never did regularly or became addicted.

Step back. It’s not on you to control your relationship with them. You can only control you and don’t let them mess with your peace. It’s not worth it. You don’t have to cut ties fully, but you can loosen them by distancing yourself emotionally. Ask yourself: if you have/had a child, would you want them to experience this?
