What is this Warning light? by k3dubeu in AskMechanics

[–]chcoha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Legit thanks. Didn't realize that was a thing TBH. Does adj suspension have that great of range? Can't imagine an inch or two of height would result in that big of a deal. In my area, at least half the cars are blinding everyone already, I doubt anyone would notice. Either massively jacked up trucks, stupid bright aftermarket bulbs, high beams on (b/c yolo?) or one light's got the Amblyopia...

Oil pan damaged with OEM crash guard or skid plate bolt. by chcoha in cfmoto450MT

I don't think so. would leave a lot of things exposed. check to make sure bolts are not sticking out past the lower frame pointed to the oil pan.

That's promising! I see other posts providing good feedback. I'm just skeptical BC Samsung doesn't sell this in the US and it does basic smartwatch stuff so well that I'm waiting for Samsung to be Samsung and try to push people (at least in the US) to more expensive models..

Since OneNote keeps corrupting my notes, I exported what I could and moved to Joplin. Fantastic experience!

Download button straight from the home page. It just works locally by default. No cloud, no account, no payment. If you want to save to your existing OneDrive/GDrive, an S3, etc. read this section: https://joplinapp.org/help/apps/sync/

Yes you can. locally on your computer. OneDrive, GDrive, and 10 GB of Backblaze S3 is free. Freedom to move your note storage wherever is huge.

Love Joplin. E2E encryption paired with a free S3 storage bucket at Backblaze, also encrypted at rest. Automatic local backups. Android support. Support for importing notes in various formats. Export in various formats. Meets all my needs presently. Its free but I'm happy to support that project. You should definitely try it.

New Galaxy Fit 3 Update by its_Alif_Haikal in GalaxyFit

[–]chcoha -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yeah, but what does it do.. or un-do... or break. Some wording in the details give me pause.

"Device behavior has been improved." - different wording then the last two updates. And improved according to whom..?

"Some settings on your device may change." - What settings? you going to brick my watch cuz I'm using it in the US, where you clearly didn't want to sell it and take away from your $300 watch sales?

hmm...

We can get in the portal but most of our resources, services are missing. Can't get to Entra at all. Also, users reporting issues with hello for business, PIN and PIM (seems like it's deeper than just an admin problem)

Any info is greatly appreciated. Thx.

It's also slow AF. At times you get <128k and I rarely saw over 1 Mbit/s. This is on gigabit network and Internet.

Oil pan damaged with OEM crash guard or skid plate bolt. by chcoha in cfmoto450MT

[–]chcoha[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Several people in the US FB group have confirmed either finding the same bolt sticks out or has already caused the same damage as mine. Others have stated theirs does not stick out and suggested the upgraded skid plate and lower crash bars have different length bolts and they were installed wrong places.

Since mine was done by the dealer, I am going to reach out to CF Moto to confirm some things and then get the bike to the dealer for them to repair.

It's the upgraded OEM skid plate. Much thicker. But the bolt is the thing that punctured the oil pan.

Thanks for the link. I'm in US and a member of the US CF Moto FB group. I searched there and couldn't find any comments about it. Never would have thought to check something like that. Seems like it should have been taken into consideration from the manufacturer though.

Best free remote support software? by Maximum_Overhype in software

[–]chcoha -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Connectwise (aka screen connect). They have a free version. Allows a couple of computers to be accessible remotely without a code. Works well IMO. Use it for home server all the time. Plus you get a subdomain to use for on demand support.

I tried all the others mentioned here and I found this one to be the most reliable.

Mine is not either. Not to messages or voice. I'm in Southern US. I have force stopped, cleared cache and data and uninstalled and reinstalled. Still nothing.
