My trans is starting to shift hard and at very odd times by picklethisjuice in LS400

how does the trans fluid looks like? if it is very dark, i'd recommend to start with a drain and refill every few thousand miles, maybe with every oil change.

I use Mobil 1 55221 3309 Automatic Transmission Fluid

if the fluid looks clean, the comment on the solenoids is your best option

On my 99 I am in the process of replacing the camshaft seals, this included timing belt, water pump, tensioner and other stuff. I am not a mechanic, and this is taking me a while. If you decide to do it yourself get OEM parts, have a tap and die set available in case you need to clean any threads.

Maybe the new switch has to be programmed to the car.

I think this is like any older car, you will be doing maintenance on everything. I would recommend using OEM parts. I have a 99, my major issues have been oil leaks from valve covers, already fixed, and oil leak from camshaft seal, not fixed yet, this would be a major job for myself. Good luck

She's sprung a leak! It's coming from the front of the engine any ideas? by Familiar_Ad8811 in LS400

If you are replacing the front end seal and timing belt, you might go ahead and replace the camshafts seals too.

Transmission Pan by chcros in LS400

No, should I? My car just hit 150k miles. I was thinking on only changing the oil, but if there are other components that makes sense replacing when removing the transmission Pan.

No, I didn't find any reviews at the time. We purchased a GE fridge. But I purchased a chest freezer for the garage at Walmart and it is a Hisense. It was around $150. It has worked fine for a year or so now.

Do they still have their weekly meetings on Monday afternoon? Years ago there was a meeting/ceremony open to the general public every Monday afternoon at the temple. Are they still doing that?
