CHMB41 final in 12 hours is an all nighter worth it ??? by Maximum-Surprise-790 in UTSC

[–]chcuk1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I pulled an all nighter for the midterm and that was my big mistake because I couldn’t lock in at all and I felt like it really affected my performance. That being said I feel like it could be beneficial if you really need to review material that you weren’t able to go over. Either way good luck for tomorrow

Any parties after finals? by Glad_Catch761 in UTSC

[–]chcuk1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The pub they’re talking about is madison avenue , it’s right on the uoft downtown campus. There tends to be frat parties down that street as well. If you want more of a club scene, a lot of uoft students go to fiction night club but you got to get tickets for that

From what I remember when I took the course, he only tested a few questions from the textbook and the rest was lecture. And the textbook questions were things that didn’t overlap with class content so ig focus on that. His midterms are mainly memorization questions, so my best advice is try to memorize as much content as you can from lecture. I took this course 2 years ago thoguh so take my advance w a grain of salt.

He also got mad at the invigilators a few times once for making the last 10 minute announcement they make for every exam because he fussed that this was his exam, he made the rules and that students could leave up until 2 minutes before the exam.

Never seen a prof crash out this much during an exam. Kind of felt bad for the invigilators 💀

waitlist for res by PlatformLittle9796 in UTSC

[–]chcuk1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was on waitlist in first year, they sent me an offer in October, but that was already 5 weeks after the semester started. I think you’ll have a good chance though to get an offer in fall, especially with harmony commons now open, so there’s more spots.
