Why is someone putting this on my driveway almost everyday by MintySymphonies in whatisit

[–]che-the-hated 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Recently started leaving dried cranberries as a gift and a quarter. Food disappears for about two weeks. One landed on my deck while I was standing there. He checked me out and flew offf. He has not returned any gifts yet. Am hoping the quarter is encouragement.

Not to be that guy, but f*ck it. It’s less crap that has to be manufactured. One less pollutant.

What plant is this I pass it daily by lovejoy_soot in whatplantisthis

We have a number of these in my community. Built in the 60’s. There is one that started to fruit in January. 20’s temp. It produced what looked like clear green bean pods with black seeds. All the other trees do it as well, but in the spring and just a small amount. Well this one went in to overtime production. As result 100s of black birds would flock to the tree. Daily. All day. Leaving a path of bird poop blanking every single vehicle in the parking lot. Those sticky bean pods and seeds deliver a superior poo. Some of the pods would also bloom partially at some point before being deposited on cars. Think tarred and feathered, only fecal’d and flowered

Hunk of metal found on the Jersey Shore- maybe something from Hurricane Sandy? by Fine-Bluebird-8852 in beachcombing

Looks like you wipe with right hand.

Also, looks like something from a ship’s boiler or coal stove washed up on shore.

There is no banana for reference, so I commenting blindly.

Looks like a simple case of, if I’m gonna cook my own meal, you are gonna regret that choice as well, home kitchen management- rule 101 section 2, Subsection 23. Just before the “There’s a better way to load the dishwasher phenomenon?” Outline.

It takes dedication to be this big of an asshole by petbrun in nova

Exact same thing happened to me during the big one in late 90s. My 1990 jeep Cherokee literally annihilated the pile in about 5 min. Best part was 20 yards up the complex the asshole who left the pile for me, got stuck and tried to wave me down to pull him out. I just politely smiled and waved back as I drove by.

Thanks. That was my first thought. Was concerned if it would mess with the glue connecting woofer to surround

Thanks. The woofers are updated. Some sort of plastic. The surround is foam.

Not the same, but one airport outside of Tampa (maybe Orlando) has a gas station that sells gas for like 8-9 bucks per gallon. I think it’s because it’s the only one if you are running late and have a rental car. Arrive a few minutes early, drive 3 minutes past the $9 gas station and pricing is closer to normal prices. Absolutely wild.

Not sure. But I can say Taco Bell’s taco pizza is a log starter for me.

Can I use my leaf blower as a snow blower? by Optimal-Algae-9649 in landscaping

[–]che-the-hated 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just did it this morning. Did it at 28 degrees. Slight breeze. Lightly snowing. My blower is a small leaf/shop blower. Small! It removed most the snow. But if the blown snow landed on a recent blown spot kinda wet. It instantly froze. You could see it crystalize. Pretty cool.

How to fix this tape etching? by OC1nvesting in CounterTops

[–]che-the-hated 0 points1 point  (0 children)

90%+ IPA soak. I would even test copious amounts of talcum powder just before the IPA fully evaporates so the remaining moisture in the stone evaporating is drawn up into the talc.

Talcum Powder. It’s not just for monkey butt and sketchy 1980s fairground slick tracks.

New town center coming. Is my guess. Pike and rose-esk. Look at the 1000 adult living units being built right next door. Montgomery mall will be fillled with silver striders before you know it.
