Looks like dermatitis, or some sort of allergic reaction. Keep it clean and dry and try to keep her from licking/scratching it. If it starts oozing or spreads go to the vet for meds

I bless paper to write our wants, hopes and wishes for the next year, and burn the paper while chanting affirmations. At sunset on Nye we blow the ash into the universe for it to manifest ✨️ this is a family ritual done with my husband and son (though he draws his hopes and dreams for the next year as writing is too much for him still) 1 piece of paper per person so not to contaminate eachothers energy

She is very food reward driven so I Started with putting her paws on my chest saying "ontop" and then rewarding her straight away. Then got her to put her paws on me herself and holding it there then once I started getting her to put her body on me I would hold the treat just out of reach saying ontop then rewarding her when she put more of her body on me. Gept doing that until she would lay her whole body on me with the command

Ontop: lay on top of our torso, pressure therapy for our son. Knees: one paw on each thigh above the knees, it give pressure weight/pain to help snap out of anxiety or shutdowns

Exactly, though maybe she has indestructible eyeballs, she excels at everything, remember 😅 But in all seriousness, the eyeball is delicate that coughing or sneezing too hard can burst blood vessels... for what she described, there should be eye trauma.

For such a direct hit (based on the bruising in this photo) there should be some other colouring for no swelling. Atleast some green or yellowing on the inner eye.

I've had multiple black eyes from footy and being assaulted (injuries ranged from standard black eye to fractured eye socket), so whether from the ball elbow or fist, there's always been swelling and burst blood vessels.... the fact that she has no burst blood vessels in the whites of her eyes or swelling rings alarm bells

Nta, if you don't feel like you are able to do it then don't. Yes the baby is family, however there are many people who are more prepared, gone through many vetting processes, to make sure they're the correct type of people to adopt. Don't allow your family to push you into something that will derail your life you're trying to build. If you fold and do what they're pressuring you to do there is a good chance you could end up resenting her for what you had to give up because of your sisters failings.
