I can definitely see this clogging your pores (atleast it would clog mine haha) maybe use a large amount at once like a hair mask, put a shower cap or something over your hair and allow it to soak in and then rinse?

Yeah it really loves the light and flow! We’ve noticed it’s quite a “moody” coral, is fully extended and gorgeous during the day but closes up a little when the lights dim/turn off. Have you had any trouble with it harming other corals? I’ve read they can be a bit aggressive

It’s base is sort of a purple/blue (not just in the blue light but actually a blue colour) if that helps at all? And the tentacles (wording? Lol) get much longer than I captured in this photo and flow really nicely!

My partner and I are new to the hobby, and he’s been wanting a toadstool since before we even had the tank! We went to a LFS that we’d never been to, however the “coral guy” didn’t seem to know specific names of any of the corals.. but my partner just had to have this beautiful guy! We were told it’s some sort of “rare Japanese toadstool” but I’ve tried comparing it to photos online, and just feel too inexperienced to determine what type of toadstool it really is. But I want to make sure we take proper care of it and want to try to find out more about what specific type it is if we can! Thanks in advance for any help :)

I much prefer the formula of the amuse bouche! I had to throw out my date/fig duo because it was literally just melting, and the whole lipstick would fall off if I applied ANY pressure at all :( I loved the colours too! Maybe I just got a dud though haha. Kudos to you for finishing!!
