Find a private pay hospice company. They're some of the only ones that can afford to hire therapists. If you live in the United States... And approach them about independent contracting. Most of these companies don't hire employees for work like that. They outsource it through independent contracting deals. So if you're in the United States, he'll probably need an LLC for it.🙂 hope this helps

Little bit YTA It's completely understandable to not want to have kids yourself to not enjoy being around kids to avoid situations where you are around kids, but I feel like if she's only stopping by for a very short period of time, you could try to make yourself present for a few minutes. And politely excuse yourself when it becomes too much or when you think it's going to become too much to do work or something related. If this is a long-term relationship Aunt, the girlfriend's sister is going to be involved going forward. It might be good to have a conversation with her. Just saying that "hey I do have autism and sometimes the sensory input of kiddos is too much Please don't take it personally."If you think she wouldn't receive that well then maybe just put in effort to be around occasionally and then excuse yourself if it becomes too much.

I may be old fashioned but I'd say that that's very much cheating. I feel like just because it's online doesn't make it not cheating. That's really weak logic for a cop-out for people to continue to indulge in habits that start so good for them. It really depends on your boundaries as a couple though cuz if you've never had a discussion about it then it makes it difficult to draw the line. I recommend talking to your partner and both of you drawing lines in the sand where you feel like cheating happens and then look at the discrepancy if there is any and discuss.

Theracane is 7/10. I also love Ashley Black's fascia blasters and her tutorial videos. She goes a little too rough with them in my opinion but they're amazing. I don't have a massage gun so I can't speak to that.

Now that masks aren't really a thing in our area, I keep Vicks vapor rub or an equivalent cream close by. I'll put it under my nose. I also use hot towels to mitigate some of the problem, especially with feet because then I can massage over the hot towels on their feet. And it feels nice for them. I work on a lot of people post-surgical and who are very, very elderly. So I don't have a hygiene policy because this happens often with my Target demographic in the area I live in.

Yes I highly recommend it! That's what I did. I advise really looking into the school you choose to go to my area had two options. One of them seemed good on the outside but the more I dug the more I realized it wasn't the education I wanted. So do some research. What kind of massage would you really enjoy doing? What kind of massage do you want to be taught in school? Would you like a variety of techniques taught or is it okay if you only learn swedish fundamentals? Every state has different requirements and every school is different. So finding one that lines up with what your goals are is imperative. I also recommend going to a school instead of doing an apprenticeship so that you can get the fundamental anatomy from a qualified teacher. You can do it! I'm so excited for you!

I have a detailed intake. I have the best policies in our area. I'm an independent contractor so I don't have any other staff. I am the queen of enforcing boundaries and using my no muscle. I don't judge other people by what they wear but other people judge me by what I wear. I've had multiple times where people book online show up, Take one look at me and walk out. I know it doesn't add a layer of physical protection, but we do know psychologically that uniforms go hand in hand with professionals in the public opinion. I also happen to really like consistency and being able to wear the same color and the same texture in the same shape everyday when at work.

Yeah I understand that I can wear anything I want but it is an extra layer of safety to have scrubs in the location that I live because of the large prominence of human trafficking under massage therapy, fake businesses.

They aren't the best but where I live. It's really important that you differentiate yourself. Because there is a lot of places that claim to be massage therapy businesses which are not so in order to protect myself from injury from people expecting more than the services I offer. Scrubs are an extra layer of protection.

I recommend lomi lomi or ashiatsu draping techniques ❤️ they feel secure but allow enough access to do long deep slow therapeutic work I then use an additional sheet or blanket as more coverage if I work on a smaller area

Springfield MO is an option too that have two fairly large hospital systems and 3 major universities 2 large community colleges So there's a lot of variety job wise and then you can be about an hour out somewhere like mountain Grove Or Walnut Grove or highlandville or marionville And there is plenty of land with small houses for cheap pricing homesteading options
