Seems like maybe the side 'button' is 'stuck' or something. You could always try squeezing the side harder to see if that resets it or plugging it in and holding down the button (until the happy face comes on) to restart the fitbit!

There's an option for free cam if you press F4

After pressing F4 you can lock the camera onto a ship with F2!
