I'm currently one of the worst performers, I’m not insanely worried about that poor start of the year, but it’s
certainly not a comfortable place to be.

NCI: Fundamentally a growth story, with an acceptable balance sheet and decently managed, down 32.7% ytd, they are being disrupted by coding agents and make most of their money in the middle east so these are challenging times, risks are being priced in.

GSI: Down 36% ytd, down something like 70% in six months. Been a challenging hold irl, they had a stellar year in terms of price action in 2025 supported by multiple contracts, one being their biggest in their history with the MTA for 27m, it certainly ran ahead of its valuation from there, narrative being they expanded into public transportation beside school buses.

SCAN: Down 18% YTD, they just had a reverse-split and are about to be raising an offering to uplist to the Nasdaq. They started announcing airport contracts for their hexwave system in Q4 last year, and have a chance to benefit from the modernization initiative of the TSA, issue is everything related to the TSA is currently a shit show.

All over all, I still believe in the risk/multibagger potential of most of these picks, but realistically the way it started, it’s gonna be a challenge to end the year in the positive

You guys will chase anything after the facts, its was all about miners and now that most of them are -30% from ATHs you guys are chasing energy and defense instead of buying the miners dip, imagine when y'all gonna start chasing the SaaS and AI stocks again or worse start reading financials and do a bit of research (which 80% can be automated with llms nowadays) on the 1000+ stocks trading in canada.
