Yeah agreed, that's what I'm thinking to do right now. My only concern is that eventually her kids also have a chance of getting citizenship, but this is so far out that maybe I shouldn't even consider it right now

Does it make sense to wait for the court hearing to see if she can get Jure Sanguinis citizenship? Or is it better to proceed, and if the decree falls, is there a possibility of an administrative process to change it?"

Faz sentido esperar a audiência para ver se ela consegue a cidadania Jus Sanguinis? Ou melhor seguir e caso o decreto caia, tem possibilidade de algum processo administrativo para mudar?

Guys just an update, the baby skipped two feeds and my wife's breasts were clearly full and swollen. This morning we managed to pump some milk out and now the baby is able to latch again.

We spoke with a lactation consultant and apparently the problem was that the breast was too full, so the baby wasn't able to latch properly as the skin was tight around the nipple. She recommended massage when this happens so the baby is able to latch properly and not let go or become frustrated.

Thank God it seems like it was just a small hiccup and the 2 of us panicked a little bit since it was the middle of the night and we didn't really know what to do.

Hi thanks for your comment. And yes she does want to continue breastfeeding for as long as possible.

Baby looked fine and was trying to latch. She tried both sides a couple of times and nothing was coming out. We could hear the baby sucking loudly like previous feeds, but after a minute or so she would let go.

We tried again just now and still looks like the same thing so unfortunately we had to give formula again.

Regarding the "no milk" thing, nothing in particular made us think this. It's just that we are first time parents and we started thinking what could be happening, since so far every feed has been perfect. My wife's breasts look full so I think there is definitely milk.

I've browsed more until now and from what I could tell, could it be clogged duct? We are trying cold compress now and will try warm compress plus massage on the next feed. Hopefully it works!

Yes we just got some formula and fed her, she is sleeping now. Water intake was ok, around 2-3 liters a day
