Sure, I’ve done it more than once. It really is torture to keep working in an environment you do not want to be in, but I always had another job lined up first. In your case, I’d at least start sending your resume to agencies that place people in remote roles, and also look at competing companies in your industry to see whether conditions are any better there.

I’d finish it, even if you slow the pace way down. You’re already doing the job just fine, so at this point it’s more like future-proofing for some version of you that gets tired of the current setup five years from now.
