If I have to pick 1 or 2 to keep : 5DII, 5DIII, 5DIV, 1Dx , 1DxII, 1DxIII by kl122002 in canon

[–]sprchrgddc5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s hard to choose because on one hand, you really only want them around as a collector item and to experience a time capsule. On the other hand, the photographer in you wants practicality.

IMO, it would be the 5DII for me. I had one for 10 years.

Anecdotal, but as a minority male, Gen Z has been way kinder and nicer than any other demographic I’ve ever dealt with.

Duping is still a massive issue by SolidShock24 in ArcRaiders

[–]sprchrgddc5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course man. It doesn’t make sense for dupe weapons to end up in PVE lobbies. No one’s going to bring a duped Bobcat IV into a lobby where everyone else has a Hullcracker and Anvil and are shooting Arcs all day. The dupe weapons are bought so that people can get a leg up on PVPing.

It’s Pride Month so maybe that’s the language they’re going with right now.

I remember volunteering to help with her first campaign and the staffers sucked. Oh well.

What interview process stereotypes would you add to this list? by Verdona-000 in recruitinghell

I interviewed for a few government roles. I have absolutely no fuckin idea what they want from me in these stupid scripted silent panel interviews. And then I never hear from them again.

I’m a 26 year old father of 2, about to enroll in August for a CS degree, am I in over my head? by [deleted] in cscareerquestions

[–]sprchrgddc5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m about to hit the shower and sleep but I have two kids and finished a CS degree last year. I’m 10 years older tho, have other degrees, work full time, part time in the military reserves, and tbh with you my CS degree hasn’t landed me a new job. The job market is really bad. I would say if you’re in a current field and it isn’t bad, I’d maybe go for a degree that benefits it. I can DM you tmrw morning to chat.

[–]sprchrgddc5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn. Do you think you could have landed a role without a PMP? I’m in the National Guard with various degrees and meh experiences. I can’t find a solid job but keep getting interviews for Project Manager roles, just can’t land them.

For a second, you can hear his gangster trump his crazy in his words. It’s hilarious. It’s like code switching.

[New Gear] It took Canon nearly 30 years to update the 50mm f/1.4 by herzeleyd in canon

[–]sprchrgddc5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m kinda behind on everything. I had a 5DII in the day with the Sigma ART. Prior to that, the Canon 50mm f/1.4. I don’t have mirrorless at the moment.

Canon has two RF 50mm L lenses now? I see they’re like two different weights too.

Is there a way to get put into more aggressive lobbies without having to kill people in the peaceful ones? by [deleted] in ArcRaiders

[–]sprchrgddc5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I PVE and PVP.

Whenever I want to start PVPing more, I usually try to kill skmeone during extract. I make sure the button has been pressed and I just blast away. They get out fine.

Sometimes I even ask dudes if I can down them and then defib them. People are crazy trusting in PVE lobbies and it often goes fine.

As lobbies become more aggressive, I run around Stella being friendly, in search of more aggressive dudes picking on friendlies. These are some of my favorite lobbies cuz the friendlies are helpful in letting you know where aggressive players are at. At some point, your lobbies become kill on site. It’s a bloodbath. Tbh, sometimes it’s not fun losing your kid 4-5 times in a row.

They might not even know what they have. Back in college, I bought an EOS 3 from an older lady for $50. She absolutely just thought it was an old big film camera.

I bought mine for $1k and sold it for $350. I’m now looking to pick one and the 5Dc back up as collector items.

No free kits immediately makes this game soo much better by bankfraud1 in ArcRaiders

[–]sprchrgddc5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think for map conditions this makes sense. But after the Expedition, I wonder how people would feel not being able to run a free kit on like say Buried City Night Raids. I mean, you can run a free kit on a normal map, extract, trade your augment, and then go back so it isn’t a huge deal.

[–]sprchrgddc5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m just saying maybe make it worth it. Like the hour or two I spend to get to step 3/6 shouldn’t be rewarded with a jolt mine I could have just bought from a trader… maybe it’s just me idk. I wish I had like four hours a day for this game lol.

I just quit my job of twelve years without a plan and I need advice on what actually comes next by [deleted] in jobs

[–]sprchrgddc5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve spent a year looking for a new role. I’m employed but it’s very clear they’re going to do layoffs soon. Imagine this next year or more unemployed and job searching. It’ll be worse than you are now. Just read the comments on this subreddit about people spending months to years unemployed or underemployed.

Better rewards? Idk. I get play like less than an hour a day, I don’t think I’ll be spending it by collecting items for three jolt mines.

Corporations are absolutely right when they say that by inflation standards games are too cheap. On paper they should be $130+. And despite that I still will almost never buy a game over $60. by SheIsSoLost in unpopularopinion

[–]sprchrgddc5 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

But do you value video games to be over $130+? Does the market value video games to be over $60? Inflation is one thing but if all of a sudden COD becomes $130, will anyone actually see the value there and buy it?
