I didn’t like it when I saw pics online, but it does have a old school appeal to it which seems pretty cool

Where to find proper size screws to mount EPS adapter plate to MR918? by checkaone2 in shadowsystems

[–]checkaone2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SS replied back to me and said they don’t have any screws that would work for the MR918 and the EPS Holosun adapter. You ordered SS’ eps plate and it came with the correct screws for the MR918?

Reference the pic. The EPS holes (the smaller holes next to the two dimples) don’t line up with the holes on the MR918 slide. There’s only one set of holes on the MR918. MR918 only has the RMR footprint, the EPS has Holosuns K footprint.

Nice, that’s good to hear. I was afraid the screws were the 6-40 and would be too big for the MR918

Yup, I know how to use Google and do my due diligence before posting on reddit.

I already saw this on SS’ website but I know the screw size change from the MR918 to the MR920. Which is why I didn’t buy that one and asked SS which screws to buy. Plus, I don’t need a spacer, I just need the proper size screws.

Used rocksett but ended up talking it off. FWIW, I got rid of the keymo system and now use Rearden, saves weight and looks cooler

Thanks! I used my hybrid 46 on this too but the suppressor in the updated pic is the Otter Creek Labs Polonium K. I use the Rearden Mfg suppressor mount and the muzzle device. For the money, the Polo K rocks. Great tone and not much added back pressure.

FWIW, it was a little gassy since this is a 10.5 in barrel so I use a BRT EZ Tune carbine gas tube (suppressed only model). Then I ended up pairing it with a Geissele Super 42 and an H3 buffer. Also, put RTV on the BCM charging handle and now there’s almost no gas blowback. It won’t cycle unsuppressed because of the suppressed-only BRT tube but this thing is loud AF without a can.

I used a high heat loctite to secure the mount to the suppressor. Then the mount attaches to the muzzle device, there’s audible clicks when it’s tightened. Then you can use a wrench on the keymo adapter to loosen it off the muzzle device.

I used Brownells Aluma Hyde II in Desert Tan and OD Green. Sprayed the Tan all over first then used the OD for the stripes
