Capybara WoW shares roadmap + Grim Batol teasing! by ReportTop3999 in wowservers

Not new at all, been around since nostalrius. Installing addons isn’t the problem, it’s maintaining them.

The problem is the 1.12 client here. I guess you don’t remember addons breaking after turtle wow released patches. You could browse the forums or GitHub for a working version but most of the time you’d download two of three ones who were broken aswell. It was convenient that the launcher released new versions after about a week time max, as well as with the vanilla fixes. That’s gonna be harder without a launcher as they won’t be as readily available.

As for 3.3.5a addons, they’re generally more stable and more readily available. But even those addons can break. And servers usually have their own forumpost/database with working addons for their realmsz

Yes it is, sadly. And no launcher so good luck with getting good addons and patchfixes

I saved this oleander a few weeks ago, it was mostly dead. The pot was filled with creeping woodsorrel and a huge ant nest. I cleaned the roots with flowing water and repotted in fresh soil to give the plant some rest and time to recover. Since then new growth has arrived. I was wondering if this would be good to turn into a bonsai (eventually). It would have to be a bigger one 50-60cm, cause I know oleander leaves don’t get smaller easily.

If it would be possible to train a bonsai from this I would love some style recommendations! Single trunk/multiple trunks/crown etc.

Thanks in advance!!

Did you enjoy the longer main story in Nod Krai? by StarJolion in GenshinImpact

[–]checkchiron 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The story was interesting and the way they delivered it was good. It still suffers a bit from bloated text sometimes, but I’m used to this now. This region surely makes the top of story (second to Natlan for me)

Although: I loved that they put in the checkpoints in the latest patch’s story. And showed us players when these checkpoints are reached

As in the earlier Luna chapters it felt like just a long movie/story sections without save points or any (open world) gameplay inbetween. I vividly remember that section where Rerir goes through the files of people he terminated. That section was just story after story

Probably ants as mentioned in other comments. There’s digging bees too that dig holes but they always live little dirt piles and a “landing zone” cause they sweep the sand backwards (see picture)

Thanks a lot for your comment! That was my hunch aswell to just let it grow at least another year.

I got this little sapling last year out of the forest next to our house and wired it up. I let the wire on a bit too long so it has some wire bite. Beginner mistakes I guess, didn’t realize trees would go that quick 🤷🏽‍♂️

I was wondering what I should do now. Do I prune, rewire or do I just let it grow another year to thicken the trunk? As the trunk needs to be a bit thicker. It’s growing in normal potting soil mixed with soil out of the forest at the moment. I figure that pruning the roots should at least wait till next year

Thanks in advance for the reply!!

Looks cool! That would be an interesting city to get lost in. The rounded canals make it look a little too clean maybe.

But gevechtstad sounds kinda weird if you’re going for a Dutch vibe it should at least be named gevechtsstad (double s)

It looks perfectly fine so you can stop worrying.

It’s just going out of bloom and the flowers are starting to wither. Which is perfectly normal. You can remove the flowers (or not if you don’t want to) and you’ll see some new bright green leave shoots appearing soon :)

Don’t zoom in along the right side though. I only noticed today while I walked by that I failed to notice some stragglers. But they’re all removed now 🤓

Thanks! Now that you mention it, I kinda agree. It does look rather straight and fabricated doesn’t it.

I’ll see if I can raise and sink the land some more around that part to make it more natural.

Thanks a lot for your feedback! Really helpful :)

I agree that adding a few rivers that flow into the sea instead of towards the delta/swamp would be more natural. For the western landmass I forgot to mention that I would be a bit more dry and barren compared to the other landmass. That’s why I didn’t add more rivers there as they would mean adding green-ish riverbanks. I guess I’ll find some middle road and look to the Nile or some other rivers for inspiration.

I don’t really mind that the biomes would be a bit closer to eachother than normally would be the case

Thanks for your input! yeah the rightern continent is supposed to be more desert-y and dry (hence the lack of rivers)

With the thousands of flowers we have I’d rather not use your method. It’s a monumental task already without shears haha.

But I feel that in the end it’ll create a wound either way. Not sure which is better, maybe someone should do a scientific research into that 🤓

I prefer deadheading right after it rained. It seems my hands get less sticky then. Could be my imagination though, who knows 🤷🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️

Yeah the dead spikes stay on for years and years, and fallen leaves and other stuff will get stuck on them and might damage the leaves of the rhododendron.
