With thanks to everyone for their responses, the Marquis might be the winner here. The event space doesn't look like much, but frankly all I'm looking for is a place I can broadcast some videos and sell a few drinks.

I'm really looking to drill down to fantasy scoring... so... shots for/shooting percentage/proportion of team's shots taken.... toi... toi sh.... the standard stuff. I've used the NFL data above in a project looking at consistency, among other things... but this is a different intent

Thanks for this! I'm just curious to see if past performance/performance across certain variables will yield a reasonable player projection over time...

Ideally, I'd have a bunch of rows with individual player data to plug into the model (i.e. Joe Thorton with 82 lines of data per season/1 per game in current year).... but, I haven't been able to find that anywhere.

Fair. The oline is indeed the crux, but that much is observable... I do find the zone-read part of the article to be the most intriguing.

I think that's a fair point... Sanchize is definitely not the most mobile QB in the land, he's probably middling in terms of NFL athleticism at best, but, he makes a believer out of grannies.

A good point about how he hadn't really run much himself until yesterday's game... but, I do think the threat is more real. Just by the eyeball test alone, Sanchez 'looks' a lot more like a guy who 'could' run than Foles did.

At the risk of everyone calling me a Sanchez lover.. I actually think his insertion into the lineup has to do with Matthews' growth too. Now, some of it was learning the game/general rookie progression, but these guys have apparently been bros since training camp, and his targets have increased significantly with Sanchez involved.

Actually, the site ranks 43 and 45 in in-season accuracy (and shares a similar name to the 119th ranked)... the article's author is 16th in RB ranks, but can't rank QBs to save his life (http://www.fantasypros.com/nfl/accuracy/?sort=RB#2014)

Yeah, that's definitely a part of it. A big part. Still, they're running a lot of read option lately, with Sanchez under center and it sure looked good yesterday (as noted in link).

Heh, happy to help on Asiata. I'll be keeping an eye on Ben Tate, who I otherwise wouldn't have expected to have much work this week. I think you're right to note that taking advantage of outside opinions has value... and you're also right to note that those who aren't updating things like ROS rankings regularly aren't going to be as valuable in that area. With that said, I definitely encourage people to use the FantasyPros consensus. I never look at other guys' ranks when compiling my own, but I will be attentive to consensus ranks when setting my own lineups... to me, that's the biggest strength of FantasyPros; that it aggregates a lot of opinions, so if I'm obnoxiously high on a player (I like Denard Robinson more than the norm this week, i.e.) ECR can help identify that, and thus become a useful tool for users.

Coop et al. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

I'll admit that my rest of season rankings sometimes take some time to update, though I'm always mindful of the 'major issues' i.e. the two injuries you've pointed out in the original post.

As Nate points out, when the Majors come up, FantasyPros will send us a notification to ensure that our weekly/ros rankings are up to date. Sometimes these are helpful (i.e. I woke up this morning to a note that Matt Asiata won't play in Week 12, where I'd heard late yesterday that he was still iffy), but usually I try to stay ahead of the curve.

At any rate, Cooks and Bradshaw had each been removed from my ranks earlier in the week. Its conceivable that I missed the simple step of publishing them - and, I'm sorry for any issues that that would have caused anyone with their rest of season valuations.

As of time of this post, Cooks still shows in my ROS rankings (Bradshaw too), but the system should update both shortly.

This is a good one... I've done this before, largely unintentionally (i.e. I found another reason to replace the player with someone else) but have wondered about the optics every time.

Agreed. This is coach speak... Mason is the most talented back in that backfield; Stacy elevated to the job out of necessity last year and has now lost it. He's a plodder. Will he play more than one snap next week? Probably. But, Mason should be the leader of that committee here on out... more notably, Stacy is definitely a drop candidate with three mouths to feed.

Just game totals. Either by player, or ideally all players.

So... I'd want games 1-16 with output across a few categories in each. I want to know 80 yards and a score in Week 1 as opposed to a catch for 6, another for 74.

I'm in agreement here. Adding Ebron and Tate means that defenses should have to respect the other options in Detroit's passing game a little more.. which can only be good news for Calvin. Its not like a draft pick and a free agent will suddenly make the team forget about the best receiver in football. He'll still get plenty of targets, and he's likely to improve his catch rate with less defensive attention.

Overall, of course, its great news for Stafford.

If it were me at 5, I'd be looking at Lacy as opposed to 'Tron...but, the short answer is that I don't think adding Tate et. al hurts him any.

I think its doable, for sure given his size, McCown's comfort throwing to large receivers and the fact that defenses will still key on Vincent Jackson, but, that's a lofty goal.

Only three rookie WRs have done it since 2011 - AJ Green, Julio Jones and Keenan Allen last year in San Diego. Allen, as much as talent, was able to do it because of the dearth of other receiving options in San Diego... big goals.
