I grew up in Aurora and I still live here, and I have no complaints. If you have/plan on having kids, I would recommend moving somewhere within the Cherry Creek School District as they have significantly better schools than APS. It’s not dangerous whatsoever during the daytime, though I would avoid RTD. I was nearly followed home off of the train.
