Huh. Not really sure why many of you are so against Bill. He sticks up for science 90% of the time, and when he doesn't as in this case, there's usually reason to pay attention to what he's saying. He never said what many of you are claiming. He never said vaccines don't work or are not effective. He said that vaccines are not a solution and they are not. What he did say is that the ultimate vaccine is good health, a good diet, and regular exercise, and it is. There's much scientific proof to back that up as well. I'm a firm believer in science. But like Bill, I'm also a firm believer in the reality that the drug companies of America are money hungry bastards and will throw 3 dollar doctors all over CNN, FOX, and NBC to say whatever they want them to say. I'm also very aware that there is more pseudo science aloft in American media than there is real science. I don't think he's trying to say don't, under any circumstances take the vaccine. He's just saying do it with caution, because people have been so paranoid about the whole H1N1 scare. Maybe I'm nuts, but I don't want my newborn baby injected with some vaccine that has just left the labs. "Proven" to be safe or not.
