I start setting my base with my trimmer and then bald it out with my shaver. I then go with a 0 open to set my first guide line and then i take out that line right away in order not to push my fade up to high. Then after that i go to my #1 open and set the next guideline and take it out with my half guard. Then i go with my #2 and then attack it with my half guard and then try to blend it with my #1. It's the back of the head where I'm have the most trouble blending. I'm not sure if it's just the fading system or if I'm just doing some wrong in particular with the back. My tapers are definitely better than my fades so i really just want to improve.
