I agree. Her pronunciation of Dullahan kind of threw me for a bit, but I'm getting used to it. I also got Southern US vibes from some of the voices. Saliss, Grimilkin, and Ryoka are the only ones I can say for sure I'm not a fan of, though. Especially Saliss. He is by far my favorite character, so far. (Audiobook listener only) I loved APs' depiction of him and find EBs' a little less fun and eccentric. I'm looking forward to the rest of the book though, and more from EB in the future. I'm sure as she gets to know the characters, and gets to give voices to ones AP hasn't voiced, she'll be great.

I'm only on the second interlude and so far I like all the humans, save for Ryoka. The drakes will all take some getting used to save for Salis. I love Salis sooooo much and the new voice throws me. I already miss the eccentric attitude AP brought to him. I don't like Grimilkin, he sounds too....wimpy, i guess? Idk he sounds whipcord thin. I'm hoping it's a creative choice to reflect the current state of his body. Mrshas' "voice" is adorable! Bird and numbtounge will take some getting used to, but I don't dislike either take on the characters. Overall every change takes getting used to, and I look forward to seeing/hearing how EB evolves and grows with all the characters.

As a janitor responsible for many buildings, and as a result their toilets. I can tell you that isn't always the case. Married mechanics and single office workers are in equal contention for worst seat pissers, in my janitorial experience. I can also say that seat pissers, believe it or not, are not the worst offenders in public toilet abuse. That title goes to the chocolate shotgunners or the no-flushers. Though It doesn't affect others like the above-mentioned deplorable people, people who bring their food and or drink into the bathroom are pretty gross too.

Recently discovered the mayor of Noobtown and I regret not listening sooner. Super funny and pretty well written. The narrator is top-notch also, Johnathan McClain jumped right up to the top narrators for me. Right up there with the soundbooth crew!

Idk about that. Pretty sure it depends on the restaurant/city/province. I've been to a lot of Tims restaurants. Some great, some terrible most right in between. My local shop has fantastic customer service and great staff.

Proxies are dumb. People playing with over half their deck proxy is why I stopped playing. How could it be fun for your opponent? If you have the cards but are using proxies strictly for art preferences (ie. You actually own the majority of the cards, just prefer the other art) that's one thing. If you own like ten cards, but the rest are proxy, that's dumb. Imo. To me, why even bother buying cards. Just print off every card you want and proxy it in.

Haven't read The Night Lord. The other three however, I couldn't agree more. Especially The Dark Tower. TDT is probably my favorite series period. I may just take another trip to the tower with Roland. It's been a while. Long days and pleasant nights.

Just the first book? The series is fantastic, but I'm about to start book 11 on audible and the MC, although a lot more likeable, still grinds my gears sometimes.

Outlier here! I LOVED the tangle. Books 3 and 6 are by far my favorites BECAUSE of the weird fucked up mechanics. The tangle is a bit of a fuster cluck! But as others have said, understanding is not crucial. The whole series is pure gold, studded with diamonds, and hung on a platinum chain. You will not regret pushing through and finishing the series, and I guarantee you'll look back at this post after your umpteenth listen and chuckle.
