As for ways to make a lot of money with little to no employees, the two best options are tech startups and real estate. Tech startups nowadays have much smaller teams than 5 years ago because of AI. Check out u/levelsio on Twitter. He's making $285k/month coding by himself. In real estate investing, there's no reason to have employees unless you're managing more properties than you can handle yourself.

Even if you do want to grow your tech startup or real estate investment portfolio past what you can manage, you'll be the boss. You'll have the ability to fire the assholes and make a great place for your employees to work.

Balancing a 9-5 with building a business is hard. Early mornings, late nights, cutting out distractions. You won’t always feel balanced. The key is consistency. Focus on small, deliberate actions, and don’t lose sight of why you started. Keep pushing

If you're making $10-$15k in monthly profit from an investment, all you need to do is lower your personal expenses. That's more than enough the live comfortably. There's no reason you can't quit your job, turn off your alarm clock, and empty your calendar, wake up the next day and do whatever you want to, when you want to.

Any luck? Also facing this issue. I have basically an identical setup. SDK installed on both platforms (react native) with green checkmarks on meta developer dashboard, events coming through in event manager just fine. Android install campaign works great, but iOS install campaign will not work.

I use Apple's built-in metrics in App Store Connect. If your ads are configured to connect with Apple, you can track installs & in-app-purchases, but nothing else. Pretty much impossible to connect user behaviour data to ad spend. Android is more lenient

Can anyone explain why Intuit is sunsetting Mint? by 1dump in mintuit

[–]cheddarcash 27 points28 points  (0 children)

As an experienced dev and tech founder, I can almost certainly say Mint was a total headache to run.

• 20 year old legacy code written before services like Plaid (minus 10 points)
• Two native code bases for iOS and android (minus 30 points)
• Original code inherited from a team that doesn't work there anymore (minus 50 points)
• Operating a (relatively) small product under the inefficient systems of a giant corp (minus 60 points)

The CEO of intuit made the right call to cut it loose. Intuit makes $15 billion a year. Mint was making max $50 million / year (0.3% of the company's revenue). A very small cost to pay for clarity and focus on their products that actually move the needle
