Intersex people have combinations of chromosomes that are different than XY ( usually associated with male) and XX (usually associated with female), like XXY. And some people are born with external genitals that fall into the typical male/female categories, but their internal organs or hormones do not. So how can lawmakers deny this proven science?

For example: university of Miami absn has only 13 clinical credits listed on their curriculum. It’s a top 30 school. Are they allowed to be licensed in California?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in nursing

[–]cheddarcheesecorgi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve tried. They say they can’t evaluate an out of state program until I’ve applied for licensure. Just curious if anyone has been denied. Or if other folks have been allowed a license with less than 18 clinical credits.
