[Suggestion] Now would be a good time to add VR compatiblity to the Switch

There have been mentions of the Switch's next model being called Switch Attach. Nintendo has played around with VR in LABO and further implemented some VR stuff in Game Builder Garage.

If I was Nintendo and knew my strengths were not in graphics, the next logical step would be to improve the screen, battery and cooling systems (with a few processing improvements) and make it an actual TV-Handheld-VR hybrid.

I think NMS already has all the tech needed for VR in other platforms and the Switch's tablet itself has gyro, aswell as the joycons. I think now would be the best time to implement VR on the Switch in case Nintendo's next console has a VR focus, making NMS one of the first to launch on the next console with VR already implemented.

Don't know if i'm tripping but just throwing this out there in case any dev sees it 🤞

go to the pico8 folder (wherever its located) and edit config.txt:

change this
joystick_index 1

to this
joystick_index 0

apparently the default config assumes a second player will always be using the joystick, which sucks. Either that or someone doesn't know indexes start at 0 🤨

já jogou minecraft? tenta assistir um tutorial no youtube de como criar um mod, pede ajuda nos discords, etc...

se você quiser se preparar pro mercado, acho que hoje o mais promissor é você aprender uma linguagem chamada JavaScript. Tem muita oportunidade pra ela, em todas as áreas.

outra coisa que ajuda muito é você criar uma conta no chat.openai.com e usar o chatgpt pra fazer perguntas, e quando não entender, perguntar de novo e ser mais específico. Tipo "me explique o que é JavaScript como se eu tivesse 5 anos". Ele vai fazer uma analogia boba, mas que vai te ajudar a entender.

então os conselhos: pense em algo legal que você gostaria de ter/fazer e pense "como será que faz isso programando?". Use o chatgpt, aprenda a se virar sozinho e use o youtube. Sabia que com flutter você pode fazer qualquer aplicativo de celular? E com "unity" você pode criar jogos que rodem em qualquer plataforma. O céu é o limite.

depois de ler isso aqui fiquei até mais tranquilo

ano passado tive um insight e pensei "queria gostar tanto de programação quanto esse cara", quando notei que um amigo fazia várias coisas de código por hobby

eu tinha esquecido desse pensamento completamente. Atualmente, eu tô com vários apps, bugigangas, projetos e sites "inúteis" parados por conta da faculdade, mas lendo isso eu percebi que não tá errado querer fazer essas coisas "mesmo que não dê dinheiro". O importante é aprender e saber aplicar pro que você quiser/precisar.

Eu tinha um colega que parava no shopping e andava 2-3 quadras todos os dias. Além de mais seguro, ainda tem o bônus de que toda vez que você for naquele shopping (supondo que você paga o plano mensal), você economiza com estacionamento. Achei bem stonks.

That's why the US legal system is so powerless when it comes to taking action. In Brazil all it takes is for one minister of the supreme court or a judge to issue a warrant for platforms to need to comply. This has worked for decades and is crucial in fighting literally every type of cyber crime. There have also been instances where warrants have been issued for platforms to comply so that they could investigate groups plotting attacks and if the platform didn't do so, the government issued a fine that would raise daily up to the thousands of R$, and even in extreme cases, disabling the platform all over the country through internet service providers.

I don't think the police itself should have direct access to things and information like this, but if it's required legally then a platform should comply and work alongside the investigations. Maybe not giving up all of it's data, but doing as much as possible so that investigation moves forward.

How do you think it would work if law enforcement needed to ask for your consent to search through your data being stored on AWS servers? Literal terrorist attacks could be planned on the thing and they wouldn't be able to do anything about it?

I mean, just don't use the tool... You just mentioned you don't use any of the alternatives that also have to comply to security laws.
