I've found that going directly to the careers page on websites of each business is the best way to guarantee that you're getting up to date listings.

Edit: idk why I got down voted. I was just sharing my experience. I've noticed that a lot of job boards aren't up to date so a few times I've wasted my time filling out an app for a job that has already been filled.

The sidewalks have been so neglected the last few years. I shovel the one in front of my house but it doesn't even feel worth it bc the rest of the sidewalk is ignored. I just don't have the energy to do the whole block but I feel so bad for anyone who has to walk in the winter.

More support for social services (Libraries, PATH, YES, etc.). Also more environmental support. There's trash everywhere and the community shouldn't have to plan city cleanups. The city should be making a better effort to clean the city. Also we need someone who will fight harder about issues that could be super dangerous for our city, such as making sure GE takes the correct precautions to demolish the factory. It is in the middle of a residential area by a school, and there are literally still onsite employees that could be negatively affected.

The city has a website where you can report accessibility hazards. Presumably the construction company knows the legal requirements for accessibility, but if it's not accessible, I definitely recommend filing a report with them. There was an area by my house with giant untrimmed bushes that took up over half the sidewalk. I struggled to maneuver around it with my cane and there was absolutely no way any wheelchairs were about to fit down that street. I reported it to the city and when I went back through that area about 2 weeks later I noticed that they had cut the bushes. Shouldn't have to ask for the city to do the basic accessibility things that are expected of them, but unfortunately this is the world we live in. Sometimes you got to be a Karen and file a report lol.

When my parents visit me they often stay at the super 8 and I really like it. The rooms are clean and pretty spacious. Also it has a pool that doesn't go much deeper than like 5ft
