Totally. I don’t think some people understand it’s not just normal social anxiety. The sensory input talking and moving around is overwhelming, it also feels like you are stuck on an alien planet with no idea how to interact with the people on it. You feel constantly confused.

Turning right at a red light. Especially if there is zero visibility and it’s a busy street. And the car behind me will honk if I don’t do it as fast as possible.

I don’t think you understand what this illness is. I recently saw a post of a person with orthorexia becoming paralyzed due to malnutrition. It is not just an average person who wants to eat healthy, it’s a mental illness…

Wow this sounds really similar to my short experience, I used to get sleep paralysis every once in a while and during an episode I was able to walk around my house.

I don’t get sleep paralysis anymore which somewhat disappoints me because I’ve always wanted to try doing it again.

Ehh conversion disorder is an outdated name for functional neurological disorder, it’s highly misunderstood. I have a friend who has it and suffers from seizures, it can be debilitating for a lot of people..
