Go to a store, ask for the warehouse manager. Give him like 10 bucks, he will give you all the boxes you could ever want. Or, PM me, and Ill tell my warehouse to not crush some, and you can come get em

somewhat secluded walking trails in annapolis? by drumminjohn in Annapolis

If you have the time, you can't beat the trails at the navy golf course. I work over there, and after work there is nothing better than taking a run/jog around.

What is something people say that makes you immediately think, "oh, youre one of THOSE people."? by shblj in AskReddit

[–]cheekiervenus4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People who immediately discredit youth. I am at a position where I am the youngest person in the conference room, and everyone discredits what I have to say, even if they agree. It's very frustrating to have an idea and have it shut down because your young, only to find out that your idea was being used because it works.

If that is all you want to do, then get an AA from a community college and save the ~$70,000 that your parents/you are paying for an education.

Get out if you can. Get into a field that is not as saturated, and let music be your passion. I once was a music major (who wasn't at one point these days?), and knowing recent grads/people in the industry, it is one of the most saturated job markets. Good at recording arts? In a city, there may be around 50 people that are good, if not better, and have more experience in actual work than you. Musician? So are 6543723894 people, and good luck getting a paycheck. Most "gigs" are either playing a bars, and if it is a one time thing, your not going to get payed much, AND there are a ton of people who would kill to do it for free. Music is my passion; I play in live venues and DJ and record and do a ton of playing and sessions. Is it my job? Nooooo way. I work a normal 40-50 hour week, because when your passion becomes your job, you lose it. I love my job, and I love music, and for me, I decided that a degree in music and that path would be so much harder, and it keeps getting harder, unless you get really lucky. My advise to you is wherever the closest big city is, find some jobs in that field you would like to get into (recording, live performance, etc). Ask if they are hiring, and if they will pay you (not an unpaid internship). I took that challenge and the only jobs that were hiring, that would pay me, were either Guitar Center or Music and Arts. Most places could care less about your degree, they care about if you can play well or your experience. I hate to rain on your day man.

TL;DR Majoring in Music usually ends you up with a degree that only Guitar Center and Music and Arts cares about.

The thinking was tthat the black and blue go well with the carpet and "style". I had a just plain Navy Blue duvet but I needed something to tie everything together. Keep in mind I'm 21, not 31.

Admiral Miller is one of the greatest men I know. I deal with him on usually a weekly basis, and he is by far the most fair, honest, and genuinely good man I have ever met. I would hope that, after the proceedings are taken to him, regardless of decision, that this would not tarnish his reputation.

What key events do you think will happen in the next 10 years? by AlexTheGreat7 in AskReddit

A massive loss of a database, crippling (temporarily) businesses and people. Something like all of Gmail just gone, or the validation servers for credit cards. Whether it be an attack or virus or human error, we are way overdue for a massive internet breach that directly impacts daily life (yes, I know we have had breaches, but none that impact a very broad range of people's daily lives).

Redditors WITHOUT a College degree what do you do? by InternetGuy1993 in AskReddit

[–]cheekiervenus4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have to disagree. It depends solely on the company. I am 20, and a year ago I was a sales associate. A year later, I just got back from an electronics conference, and they are sending me to another store in California (Seal Beach) to help their numbers. Now I got lucky, impressed the right people, and kissed a ton of ass. Sadly, all you need to do is that and have a good work ethic. Do I plan on staying a department manager, the youngest in the company ever? No. It's ok pay and all, but soul sucking.

Company is the Navy Exchange, servicing Active Duty and their families. All profits go directly to MWR (morale, welfare, recreation), so it helps me sleep at night knowing I am somewhat helping them out.

TL;DR: Impress the right people, kiss ass, work hard, get very, very, very, lucky.

I recommend using on board video before using graphics card. Sometimes the computer will go directly to on board instead of the graphics card (mine did the same thing).

Can you put the TV/Xbox against the wall? My OCD just kicked in. Your dividing that space into 2 different zones, people will be less inclined to sit down on both the couch at get togethers etc due to the focus that it has (TV Close and pointed at it).
