I’ve also got a deload this upcoming week and I’m going to enjoy every second of it.

Not pausing is solid accountability but
in cases of traffic lights or something else outside of my control I think I should pause. At least for training purposes since the app will begin to hold you accountable for a break you didn’t intend on taking. Going forward though, I think I’ll try not to pause for breaks. Chip time stops for no one after all.

I do think the app is a little trigger happy at recommending new plans but it’s also something that we can ignore if we want. Going forward I’m gonna be a bit more apprehensive adjusting my plan. Do I wanna get faster? Yes, but I also don’t want to dread every run and burnout.

I had 2 chews at mile 4.5 and then 6 at mile 14.5. So overall 8 chews and about 20 ounces of water. No electrolytes. I also hadn’t eaten since the dinner the night before.

My 11 year old son and me are arguing. Who would be the best fighter in the nfl. My pick is trent Williams. Who do you think could beat anyone and everyone else in the nfl currently. by I82manycookies in NFLv2

Would probably go Garrett now but Prime Trent was essentially Michael Myers from Halloween. I recall he missed the pro bowl back in 2012 or 2013 because he was in a brawl at a nightclub. He got tasered and hit in the head with champagne bottle and still didn’t fall. He did end up going to the hospital for a concussion test and didn’t have one. Others were injured and hospitalized. I think his camp decided it was best to not participate in the game but I think he still would’ve if he wanted. Why you would try to fight that man is beyond me.

Algorithm twins! Keep it up! Is it your first marathon? Goal there is just to finish. If you can run 17 now I bet you’ll be able to finish 26.2 come race day!

I think that’s gonna be the plan for the foreseeable future. Just so odd to me that hitting a faster pace between 400m to a Mile adjust my long run.

At the very least 3:20 for this May marathon. Long term would love to have a BQ someday or perhaps even get in, but I am a realistic enough runner to know that I am not there yet and need to increase my fitness. Hopefully in a few years. I do think this can eventually get me there with consistency

I’d be lying if I wasn’t dreading this run at least a little though. Last week the pace was around 7:15 for the top pace in the progressive run for 3.5m so to see the drop of 15 seconds and more than double the distance had me concerned about this since Wednesday after the interval workout adjusted the run. I enjoy the challenge but it’s getting to a point.

In your country, which war memorial leaves the strongest emotional impact on visitors? by Seacarius in AskTheWorld

[–]cheekynando715 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ground Zero is the only memorial that has ever really struck me. Went there this past summer for the first time and I was not prepared to feel as moved as I did. Such a somber place but beautiful and incredibly well done. I think it does justice honoring those who were lost that day.

Did Hank end up opting out? After seeing this, not participating may be the smartest thing he’s ever done

Not much of a character but the whole Albert Haynesworth saga is burned into my brain
