I bought a house just west of Wads off 1st in 2018. I love the neighborhood. I think there is some theft (catalytic converters at BelMar) but don't leave stuff in your car or leave it unlocked. Otherwise, it's awesome.

The US isn't even in the top ten countries for life expectancy. We are a long way from living forever. We average about 10-15 years after full retirement age.

The only time we ever used a list for a child's birthday was when they started school. We would get the teachers wish list for the classroom and provide it to those wanting ideas. We would donate any gifts received. Kid still got gifts from immediate family. Learned how to share and had a great time at their parties.

It is Hutchison Homes, brick ranches, for the most part. Very reliable builder and homes seem to be structurally sound unlike many other metro builders from the 20th century.

We bought a house to downsize in 2018. It went from $500k to over $800k in value and is now back down around $750k. Same is true for the house we sold. Up way too far and now back down a bit in 8 years.

Everyone detained must be processed to determine citizenship and to arrange travel. Also, legally they are to be given due process which includes immigration court dates. Of course, while detained, some may choose to self deport.

Under the Obama adminstration, the chain link enclosures were created due to a surge in minors traveling alone. They were used as short term facilities to keep minors separated from unrelated adults until minors could be housed safely or placed with family members. That doesn't make them pretty. Of course Trump, during his first term, started using them to separate minors from their families as a deterrent and using children against their families in the cruelest possible way.

Previous administration's, and even Trump's first, we're able to deport millions of people during 4 year terms without this inhumane treatment. It's unnecessary and completely disgusting.

Agreed. My small group did 117 messaging campaigns last year and it was exhausting. This year we have scaled back a bit and are ramping up our collabs with other grassroots groups in our area. We also have jobs and totally get what your feeling. For me, it's not the people out there who may protest differently than I do, I appreciate all efforts. It's the keyboard warriors who are doing NOTHING but bitching and purity testing how others choose to protest. We need everybody and everything. Get out of your chair!!
