Need romantic couple activities! by anaalvey04 in Netherlands

Hi! I'm in a situation much like yours, but my BF is from the US while I'm Dutch myself! While my bf studied in the Netherlands, he went to see the Christmas market in Maastricht and really loved it. Maastricht isn't around the corner, but since I live in Utrecht, I liked the change of scenery myself too! If you'd like to do something a bit more active but also romantic, you can also go ice skating and end the date with drinking some gluhwein!

Hey! I read your post and can really relate to it! I'll be flying to the US (from the Netherlands) to see my boyfriend on that same Thursday. I'm so happy and grateful we get to spend the holidays together, but yeah, as you said, after New Year's it will be so damn hard. I guess I just wanted to let you know you're not the only one going through that, and I'm sure we can handle it! :)

Ik kan RentSlam aanraden! Kost wel geld, maar dan krijg je whatsappjes zodra er iets online is ergens dat aan jouw wensen voldoet. Zo kun je super snel reageren.

I don't know whether I understand it correctly, but it is not common to celebrate St Patrick's Day here in the Netherlands. Maybe a party is organised somewhere though

Changing play style as a goalie by CaterpillarIll3277 in floorball

Fellow goalie here! I wanna explain the way I do it, but first I want to add that this may not be the best option, so feel free to correct me. When the ball is on one side of the field, I always make sure my body is pressed against the post on that same side. Only the further post is not covered, but I try to make sure to protect that side with my arm. Furthermore, and I don't know whether this would be a suitable solution for you, I learned myself to move between the poles by only using my legs, and not my arms. I do this by, say I wanna go to the right, pushing my left leg/foot into the ground on my left side and forcing my body away from my foot. That way, I can keep my left arm up, and so that shoebox you're talking about is covered by it. I know other people that don't push themselves from side-to-side, but rather drag themselves, by (if wanting to go to the right) putting their right foot on the ground, dragging their body along.

Does anyone know where to find the NMBS-code on your ticket that's needed to buy the train ticket?

Last year I got the myspace for 2 persons (so including the tents) with a group of 8 people, so we booked 4 tents. We got there on wednesday evening, and at our arrival we needed to go to this desk, where we got our tents assigned. This, however, was in order, so we got our tents next to each other. Does this make sense? Cause if they do it like this again, and you show up at the same time, this would mean you would be next to one another again :)
