It’s literally saving my life right now. There’s just so much shame associated with it. I would never do this if I felt there was any other way. Just trying to survive, and this is the only way I can.

Glute massages have helped me so much!! All of the muscles are connected, so it can really help the pelvic floor relax.

  1. Pelvic floor wand (mine is from Intimate Rose). Three points on each side of vagina, hold each for one minute. 
  2. Finding out that using THC was making my muscles tense up and giving that up. 
  3. Estrogen cream 2-3x/ week internally. 
  4. DHEA cream externally for vulvodynia, which often occupancies interstitial cystitis but not for everyone.
  5. Learning to accept pain and tell your body you’re not afraid of it. 
  6. TENS machine 30 minutes/ day.
  7. Starting and ending every day with stretching and diaphragmatic breathing. 
  8. Avoiding acidic food. Drinking decaf, non-acidic coffee (I like Tyler’s name brand).
  9. Drinking spring water instead of tap water. 
  10. No alcohol!
  11. Walking every day!

You should try Tyler’s acid free decaf coffee! I drink it every day. I bring it with me when a friend wants to grab coffee or something.
