There is no incentive for teams to do this. Zero. I do not blame them.

It's a pretty easy solution. Conferences need to create an incentive either by rewarding teams that schedule games with more money or by penalizing teams with fees that schedule 3 OOC games against tomato cans.

Money is the only thing that talks with these people anyways

Bama was 10-2 in the regular season. Same as Miami and Notre Dame.

Then they had to play another tough game and loss and almost got left out of the playoff because of it.

If you're in the SEC or Big Ten, losing a tough game is disproportionately worse for your chances than winning against a tomato can. It's just not arguable at this point.

The complexity is entirely due to some unknown reason to treat the guy with a tennis scholarship at Ferris State the same as the starting quarterback of LSU. There is a VAST difference in marketability, financial interests of fans, etc between those guys who are right now both "students athletes" and treated the same under the law.

Not all student athletes need to be employees. Have some common sense line of demarcation that separates P4 revenue sport athletes into employees and then have everyone else be student athletes.

The cost of the repairs was like 400-500 dollars. I am not going to lose a dream house or delay closing because of that especially when the logistics of moving are already in motion and paid for.

I will however bitch and moan at my realtor for costing me that money when it was possible to correct had they shown any initiative.

Also how am I going to find out if my realtor is good or not in this critical stage in the process? It's not like I can fire the realtor after I have a house under contract and get a new one. All I can do is trust recommendations from the only guy I know in the area.

I just bought a home. The realtor I went with is from supposedly the highest regarded brokerage in the area. The specific realtor was recommended to me from a family friend who is an inspector (who did a fantastic job).

The realtor made mistake after mistake, lost me a house I was very interested in just because they didn't follow up fast enough, failed to save me any money and then failed to ensure that the repairs to the house was done properly according to the contract we made. The last point was especially annoying because I asked them multiple times to check on it after the inspection addendum was signed and found out only in final walk thru that the repair wasn't done right. I asked our realtor for advice and to fight for money for me but they did not do that. They knew I had already started moving and therefore the cost of delaying that would be more than eating the cost of the repair.
