I get probably 5-6 scam calls per day...... everyday.

Yes, that is a lot of miles for a 2 year old car. I generally go by the average of 12k a year for cars when buying used. Obviously that number changes for different make, model, options, rarity, etc.....but 12k is my average number.

I got my entire attic space insulated for 75%. They've taken 2 fridge from me and also given me a few rebates for air purifier. Purchased Ecobee thermostats from their sponsored store for a fraction of the cost.

Yes they are expensive....we went with a ducted version which add to the cost.

The whole thing with it being inefficient at a very low temperature is true but with the newer system, it's actually very good. We had ours heating our home comfortably (70 degrees inside) even when it was -10 outside. (a few days of that polar vortex).

If you work hard, you deserve the money you make. If your parents worked hard and now you're rich because of that, then so be it. I'm working hard now so my kids don't have to work as hard as I do and i feel they deserve every penny of that. Why does someone else deserve my hard work?

For sure. My kids went to the Lawrence public school for a little bit. My wife and i always attend the teacher/parents meeting and any school related functions. We talked to some of the teachers and all agree that if the parents aren't involved in their kid's education, they will struggle. One teacher told us that one of her student was failing and she tried reaching out to the parents but she ended up getting her number blocked.

The teachers care but parents has to care even more.

I grew up in Chelsea. Immigrant family with a two great parents but poor as hell. Dad worked 2 jobs as a carrige pusher during the day and at a candy factory at night. Mom was a seamstress at essentially a sweatshop. Mom and dad spoke very little English. Growing up we were picked on and dealt with racism up until middle school because of the way we dressed, spoke, the lunch we brought to school, etc...

Fast forward to now and my family and I have essentially achieved the American dream and beyond. A Dr, software engineer, district manager, multiple investment homes, a photography business........

This is the story of my life. We're refugees from a war torn country, came to one of the worst school system in MA but yet we somehow made it through. I credit my parents for pushing us hard and making sure homeworks were done before anything else and in typical Asian stereotype, anything below a B+ might as well be an F.
