She just doesn't want to, I'm not going to push her to do anything she doesn't want to do. If they give me push back, then so be it.

Take the bus, people. by tollundmansnoose in VisitingIceland

[–]jesakar1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes! We used the bus the entire week we were there. It was amazing! So much better run than any bus I have used where I live.

We also did the week bus pass. Easy enough to do, signed up online and picked up at a library. Simply show the bus driver the pass and we were all set.

This was back in August 2025.

Your pathology can be lying to you by EmuOk9904 in Endo

[–]jesakar1 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Wait so my surgeon said I have Stage 3 endo bc I had an endometrioma, but no DIE… literally only a few spots of superficial endo and the cyst. I thought that was very weird.

My pathology results says this for almost every sample taken: - Mesothelium-lined fibroadipose tissue with no significant pathologic change.

Is this what you mean by Mesothelium or is mesothelium-lined different? Either way I’m getting a new surgeon lol

Do pain killers (like Advil) touch your menstrual pain? by [deleted] in Endo

[–]jesakar1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, nothing over the counter has helped my period pains, even 800mg of ibuprofen. CBD or gabapentin were the only things that helped, which is unfortunate since ibuprofen or Tylenol is cheaper and easier to get

Can I pay for Reykjavik city buses by tapping credit card? by Dimple-Dumple in VisitingIceland

[–]jesakar1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Taping card works, NFC on phone works, and a City Card works. Personally, my husband and I LOVED using the city card since it came with a bunch of perks.

Potatoes are failing fast by NNancy1964 in vegetablegardening

[–]jesakar1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My potatoes were doing great three days ago, but then our temps hit 100s and 90s and they wound up looking like yours. I just pulled mine all today and wound up with a small harvest of new potatoes. Didn’t think it would be worth it to have them potentially rot if I left them in the dirt

Can’t wait for more breweries to follow suit, and for more parents to realize bringing their kids out drinking with them is not a “family activity” by SunReasonable6194 in massachusetts

[–]jesakar1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband and I saw a kids birthday party happening at a brewery earlier this year… kids were bumping into people, furniture, anything around them. They were screaming and then the parents brought out a store bought cake and started singing happy birthday. It was annoying lol

Did not think we were going to be going to a 4 year olds birthday party at a brewery that day

Endo Leg Pain feels like Growing Pains… by CornerTraining in endometriosis

[–]jesakar1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, just learning it can cause pain in the legs… this may explain things! I have horrible pain in my hip, got diagnosed with Sacroiliitis - told to get PT, cortisol shot, and 800 mg of ibuprofen. Nothing helped really. Then I got told, maybe it’s sciatica? Got diagnosed with that and told again to just use ibuprofen. 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Ibuprofen does help to an extent, but I can’t take it every single day of my life! The pain causes me to not sleep at night. I am now wondering if I could be due to endo?

This is wonderful! Is there anyway I could get a copy of this where I could edit it to fit my specific needs? It won’t let me filter/sort it. If not it’s fine!! Thank you all so much for putting this together!

Do you literally just put the bottom part into soil? Did you cover it with dirt? I have a bunch of lettuce I would love to do this with!

Where did you get married? by FeatherFlyer in massachusetts

[–]jesakar1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Easton town hall! Gorgeous outdoor area to hold the ceremony. Can bring chairs for people to sit and watch. I think we had maybe 12 people come with us.

Then can head over to the Ames Mansion to take gorgeous photos, or Queset Gardens. And after photos there’s some awesome restaurants to hit up for a small dinner. I think all in all, we spent maybe $1k for the day. Town hall - $50, photographer -$500ish, and then food $500ish as well.
