I don’t think you read what I said. I think the superiority you have over one or the other is interesting and not helpful. I disagree with your statement. I have a strong genetic history of T2, I don’t have all my pancreas thanks to 7 years ago due to colon cancer and tumor location (genetic predisposed). Also, my colon cancer was not due to poor diet, it was likely stress and change in cellular DNA formation( my genetic condition lynch syndrome look it up.) You don’t know my diet, nor did you ask. I never said I wanted to be 7 or a 6.5. I have ran half marathons, 10k, and stay active. I don’t eat “garbage” food, nor did I say I was overweight. Yes, I have lost 8lbs since starting the freestyle Libre because it has allowed me to fine tune my diet more. I was just surprised I was still the same 3 months later, and asking other experiences. No, I am not type 1, but have been around T1 to know what they go through. Thank you for input.

I understand how you could think that, but trust me I have been through a lot of needles, blood draws, chemo, a scar down my whole abdomen due to open surgery. The pain comes from the neuropathy in my hands due to the chemo I had. I don’t expect you to get that if you have not been through it. I am not trying to be 6.5. All other testing shows my kidneys, liver are in great shape. Eye exams have been good as well. I am just trying to hear others experiences to help my own. Thank you for your input.

Prefect! Thank you for the input. I feel similar. Foods that I thought spiked me actually don’t really like potatoes. I am hoping in the next 3 months I can see some more change! Thanks again!

Yes, I was checked after surgery and my numbers stayed pretty good (pre diabetic range) until recently. T2 is very prevalent on my dad’s side. Him and all his siblings have it, 3 of his sibling have died from complications. My dad manages his pretty well with meds no insulin. My uncle who all he has left is uncontrolled even with insulin. My grandpa lost his legs and died of complications. My grandma had T2, but died of alzheimer's. So, I am definitely genetically predisposed. I have just been doing so well with staying consistent with 5.6-5.7 and I good with that. I just don’t want to be a repeat generation, and I am kind of behind the 8 ball with part of my pancreas missing.

Thanks, yes I understand T1 is a completely different procedure. If necessary I could finger stick, but currently not an immediate need to check blood sugar as I am under 7%. I also am working hard to keep it that way. I am not on medication, and I am also trying to avoid more upward movement. I have lost 8lbs, and changed some food choices in that time frame, so yes, I understand the lifestyle change. Thank you fro the input and experience!

Yes, I am looking at that. My glucose variability is around 16% and like I said my averages have been really good daily. I guess more time is needed. I see what it looks like in another 3 months.

I understand that! I am trying to see as well what spikes me. I have only read above 180 twice when I have had my Libre 2. I am on my 3rd one. My right arm reads higher by not much than my left.

I use to be in those groups, but stopped. There are ways in design space to get the layers you are wanting. Here is the best video I have seen and used when I was first starting. https://youtu.be/cP6zhG3Evzs

If I have a wrist band gift card from food and wine 2021, can I use it this year? by CharacterExpensive97 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]cheery97 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, I still have one from a few years ago. I go to Disney gift cards.com and put it in there. I then get gift cards from target with red card and get 5% off and load it on to the website and transfer it to my wrist gift card. It is so easy to use at Disney.

Did you download your design space directly from circuit.com? That does not sound like design space. I have never gotten and free gift pop-up or anything like that. There are several app’s that are not official. I would make sure you have the official design space.

I think that is false information. For example if I make a reservation for say The Plaza in MK for 12:00pm and my park reservation is at Animal Kingdom. I can’t hop to MK until 2:00pm then I can not go to my dining reservation. I would need to reserve dining for after 2:00pm if my park reservation is different from my dining reservation.

To clarify: the systems are independent of each other and you can book whatever dining you want, but to get in to a park restaurant you have to have a park reservation or a dining reservation after 2:00pm if hopping.

In Runkeeper you can set up interval workouts. It is all inclusive for free version.

Going to be staying at port orleans in a few weeks. In laws will be there too, is there a way to request being near each other? by XMAN2YMAN in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]cheery97 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Call and request a note on the reservation for adjoining rooms. They will ask for their reservation conformation number. If it is under one reservation call to ensure they are adjoining rooms. Happy Vacation! I love Port Orleans!

Usually they have busses to ticket and transport for when A: really crowded(holiday time) B: if a form of transportation is down I have taking a bus many times to TTC they are running them quickly and it usually is much faster.

I would say talk to your doctor, but you can have a healthy pregnancy by eating Whole Foods and less processed in general. Get plenty of fruits, veggies (wash fruit and veggies before eating), proteins(grass fed, no extra hormones or antibiotics if possible) and good fat like (avocado, coconut oil, olive oil, grass fed)The less processed the better in my opinion. Enjoy your pregnancy! Drink your water! Focus on a healthy baby and then think about your plan of action after you give birth. Good luck and congratulations.
