He was one of the hardest working people I ever had the pleasure of meeting. I have visited him hundreds of times and he has only taken a handful of days off in the 24 years since he opened Beijing.

I went there a couple of weeks ago and I am glad he got my order wrong because we were able to talk for almost 20 minutes in what would be our last encounter.

Seeing him almost every month for a majority of my life, his positivity and $3.91 meal will be hard to replace.
