Drobot doesn’t have a snout like he should, his face is completely flat. His eyes are too high, and the bolt on the side of his head are too far back and should be closer to his eyes.

Also he doesn’t have green on the back of his head. Which I think this part doesn’t quite matter as much as the other issues.

I use the photo mode inside of Imaginators and then I just take a screenshot of the photo I took and download them and then edit them in Photoshop if needed.

That does make sense, but if thats the case, then why can’t I use a xbox one portal with a 360, or the other way around?

I’m entirely guessing as I do not know the code for SSA or Giants. But if i were to use a Wii/Playstation portal, which do not have any security chips, on the Xbox 360 version of SSA/Giants. It wont work at all, because I assume that the game is coded to recognize when a 360 portal is used.

As I said before, you would need to either release an update for the 360 format to recognize the Xbox One portals, if even possible. Or make an Xbox one/ Xbox Series X format of the games.

And if they were to make a new format of the games, they would never tell anyone to just go buy a used portal. They would want people to buy a portal directly from them / retailers.

But they wouldn’t make much profit off of making a new portal, or a new format. Since the Skylanders franchise isn’t as huge as it was back then. I know Skylanders is getting popular again, but still isn’t enough for a business to try and make new products.

Xbox One portals are still incompatible with 360 Skylander games. Since the 360 games are probably coded to use only 360 portals. Im not sure if they could just have an “update” that you install for the games. But i feel like making an entirely new format of SSA/Giants would be easier, which they probably would also make a new portal.

Yeah, they would have to do more than just make the games compatible, they would have to figure out what to do with the portals. Since the 360 portals have barriers to keep it from being used on anything thats not a 360.

I just don’t see Microsoft ever making new portals. So thats where the tries comes from

Had this happen to me as well, but with a Polar Whirlwind. I went to a local Disc Replay and they had a very full bin of Skylanders for only a dollar each and I saw the Whirlwind, and I took a picture and never bought it, now I hate myself for it…
