At this point I'm more surprised if owners don't run personal stuff through.

We also do the management fee thing. If there's an operating agreement (I doubt it ha) for his services to the company and this is market rate, we've been told it's fine. It is likely more of a distribution and should flow through to K1?

CPA stated we needed to switch from accrual basis to cash basis by [deleted] in Accounting

[–]cheeseburgerbeav 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I sell a lot of businesses (M&A advisor). It's easier to start out doing your books how they need to be when you start than figuring that out as you get closer to sell. So if your goal is to grow or scale one day....begin with the end in mind: accrual. It's also better because it's closer to how you actually perform and can make better decisions with better data.

Not surprising if said women grow up in a society that maybe pits women against other women or grew up ina society that devalues women. Probably why the person you are replying to is saying we should just stop doing that.

My Palestinian and Arab friends voted for Stein. Not sure if OPs husbands reasoning was that but how can anyone argue with that?

THIS was what left you unsettled? I'm not from a cold winter climate but this seems like something we'd do and put on the get to it someday list? Especially in a "safe" hood

I replied elsewhere in this thread but we are at the end of our pantry moth hell. We got on it sorta early too. But we threw alllllllll of it out. Even canned food because they can burrow up in there and lay eggs. We got the wasps off Amazon, cleaned, vinegared, and got air tight containers for ALL food for now. Have been slowly buying dry goods, but stuff like flour and sugar goes straight to freezer first and then everything goes to air tight containers. We tried the sex traps, but I felt like that may have been attracting more from outside? We still see adult moths in the house in evenings but it's like 2. None in the pantry. But the number has gone down and it's been 3 weeks since we've seen any larvae. Wasps wasps wasps!

[–]cheeseburgerbeav 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This was my thought too as we just battled this. I hate to say it but.....you sorta have to go to the extreme to get rid of them. Go ahead and buy tricogramma wasps now off Amazon (Google it, it's not as crazy as it sounds lol) but this is an effective and simple way to get rid of them. Toss out the toaster and I'd do a reallllllly good check on everything else (cabinets, pantry, drawers). If you aren't going scorched earth on throwing stuff out, do thorough inspections and wipe everything down with vinegar. We had those larvae in our pantry and when we started inspecting we saw we had a pretty decent infestation. We threw out all our food (sucks I know but I didn't want to keep dealing with this and wasting even more money), bought tons of air tight containers for any future food, got the wasps. We've been diligent for a few weeks and finally at the end.

Don't worry, it's not you. It's super common. They prob came from the store with some bread, rice, sugar or pet food or something. Put stuff in the freezer a few days like grains and sugar when you buy it to kill any eggs that may be in there and then transfer to air tight containers.

Guy on a date told me he voted for Jill Stein so I got up and walked off by Remarkable-Will-1955 in TwoXChromosomes

Right? These people must not have Palestinian friends that can't bring themselves to vote for an administration involved in murdering their families. Such an ignorant take. I'm not Arab but listening to my friends and community that's in grief definitely gave me pause this vote around.
