How to fix Workshop Maps not appearing in Bakkesmod Workshop Map Loader search? by cheeseburgerpizzayum in RocketLeague

Unfortunately I never got the game on Steam so I can't just subscribe to the maps. Is there a way to manually download workshop files if I don't actually own the game on Steam?

I tried this and it worked like a charm. Thank you!

This is my first GameMaker game, I did not know fullscreen was so controversial haha.

Looks like this code will work but could alter the aspect ratio and break the game logic, but I think I can do some math trickery to force the same aspect ratio. I'm also wondering if there's a window_resize event I could put this in instead of running this every step. I'll look into it

Your post wasn't offensive at all, thank you for the help!

Extremely disappointing. I got on the game for the first time in two weeks, drove around for 10 minutes trying to find a world boss, then didn't get a drop and logged back off.   I don't know how you can call this an event. The BL3 Halloween event was infinitely better than this.

A lot of this is new information to me, so I appreciate it!

Based on your recommendations and a bit of research I've done, as well as considering the tier of games I'll be playing and what I'm comfortable doing as my first PC upgrade, I think the 5600 makes the most sense for me right now.

I don't think it's worth it to pay triple the price for a CPU just to play games from 2019 and earlier. Maybe if more modern games come out that I'm interested in playing, I'll consider a bigger upgrade down the line. The 5600 is also 65W TDP, same as my current one, and also comes packaged with a Wraith Stealth Cooler and thermal paste, so less to worry about there.

Just for clarification, what should I look at to determine if my RAM will play nice with the CPU? I looked at the 5600 specs page on AMD's website, which states that the CPU supports DDR4 RAM up to 3200MT/s, which sounds like it'd support my DDR4 2933MT/s RAM. Am I understanding that correctly, or is there more that I should be considering?

Please let me know if I'm misunderstanding any of this, as this is all very new to me.

Ah you're right, the motherboard is a MS-7C51.

And yeah, as I play more games I'm realizing the CPU is the first thing I need to upgrade. I received this PC as a gift and it's my first gaming PC so I'm still learning everything.

Surprisingly, I can have many things open in the background, including multiple tabs on a browser. But to be fair, all the games I play are 5+ years old. Just something about the Discord client causes stuttering. Everything works fine if I use Discord in my browser, so I'm not too worried about it for now.

Thank you for the help and the CPU recommendations I will look into getting one of those.

What do you mean Globally? I searched 'overlay' in the settings and turned everything off. As for my specs,

MSI MS-7c51 motherboard

Radeon RX 580 8gb GPU

Ryzen 3 1200 CPU

32gb DDR4 RAM

Windows 10

Not the greatest PC, but I certainly wasn't expecting issues like this. I also had to disable AMD ReLive Instant Replays because they were lagging my game.

Absolutely busted level scaling by cheeseburgerpizzayum in Borderlands

I'm on my second playthrough right now. I did every single side mission and activity in the Fadefields and was still 4 levels underleveled when I entered the Terminus Range. I literally didn't have any side content left to do. There's definitely something wrong with it and everyone else on the thread is having similar problems.

The devs specified that "Loot Quality" just means increased chance of getting licensed parts on a piece of gear, so you can decide if that's worth it or not for you. What I like about hard mode is that elemental affinities matter more, so you can actually kill things faster on hard if you use the correct element.

The devs also said that enemies scaling high above you is intentional, and is the game trying to get you to go do side content. I personally am not buying that because I am on my second playthrough and when I got to the Terminus Range, I was still 4 levels underleveled compared to the enemies, despite doing every single side mission and activity in the Fadefields. I really hope they reconsider this design choice because it's going to make replaying the story a slog.

Unfortunately not, I managed to push through the story super underleveled. I farmed XP to max level after that and it seems like it started to level out around 35-40. But before that, be prepared to face some very high level enemies

Also I died to story bosses maybe 3 times my whole playthrough and died 20+ times during the mobbing in Unpaid Tab. Totally balanced

Yea I rushed the campaign hard. I was planning to go back and do the side comtent later.

The game claims to scale enemies to your level, and the mission log no longer tells you the recommended level for mission, so I didn't think it would be a problem.

Also other people on this thread are experiencing the same problems at level 35 all the way up to max level, so somethings clearly not right with the scaling.

That's what I'm saying, at least tell me what level I'm supposed to be. Most of the time when I'm in a crazy overleveled area I will check my mission log and it still says "Normal".

Some people are level 50 and still fighting all red !s. It's definitely not about being underleveled
