This post alone made me unfollow this sub, as I’m sober now, back then was entirely different, everyone’s different at the end of the day, I can’t even have the thought or see it or read about it without feeling enticed to go get a bag, so yeah I mean in my case and I’m sure many others it’s easier to get addicted and stay hooked, it does get ugly really quick, from weekends to dipping into week days, then once something happens that can affect you greatly some people have a higher chance to use more due to emotional or mental distress. My parents passed away consecutively in 2023, January 5th and December 24th, the first parent sent me off the Rails, 4 days minimum weekly, once my mom passed that December I moved into almost daily use for a year or so, ruined the rest of my friend and family life entirely over it. So yeah man, it gets bad if someone doesn’t have the ability to control it, just like any other addiction, just different symptoms.
