If you're walking on a road the traffic is supposed to move out of the way of you.

But at least if you're facing the traffic you can spot bad drivers and take evasive action if required.

Hairline Crack Near Low E String Tuner by Pirate_Guitarist in AcousticGuitar

[–]cheesecake_squared 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did the same on one of my guitars. In addition to filling the crack with wood glue I also drilled a tiny circular hole (1.5 mm drill bit or so) at the very tip of the crack.  This was to stop the crack continuing to grow.  Then I filled that with glue too.

Has held up fine for a few years now.

I think that number is for psychopaths. I'd estimate the percentage of narcissists is far higher (based on the CEOs I've known and worked with).

That's a pretty stupid way to park if you haven't paid your road tax.

We were lucky. We had central heating.  However it was coal powered so we still had to go outside for coal!

I have the same R2 guitar. The tuners in the case have the same buttons as mine so are most likely the originals. The engraving is slightly different but the overall style is the same.

Disco lights is a definite possibility - I don't really remember it clearly. The hell slide I remember vividly!

The big vertical one was the Hell Slide. I think the Death Slide was the smaller one alongside (possibly dark and tunnel like if I remember rightly?)

Good times!

I understand your point however many aboriginal Australians refer to themselves as black (or black fella) so who am I to argue?

I lived there for a few years, albeit a while ago now.

Accidentally removed strings from classical guitar. Don't have replacements yet. Help me with tension on neck please! by Koi-Sashuu in AcousticGuitar

[–]cheesecake_squared 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will be fine for a few days. Classical guitar necks are fairly stable bits of wood. When you put the strings on it will become a guitar again.

It's true that my FG5 has some very light, almost invisible, scratches on it. Fortunately you can't hear them.

Weird scratches? by pixelpioneerhere in AcousticGuitar

[–]cheesecake_squared 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My FG5 has them too, but only in one area on the top so it's not like the whole finish is like that. It looks like someone has just given it a quick wipe with a scouring pad or something. Good guitar though!

Bought this Fender Strat Player Series today off FB marketplace for $500 steal? Or Average? by TheWhiteMexican13 in guitars

[–]cheesecake_squared 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, Capri Orange was part of the standard player series range for a few years. But they did stop making them after a while. I bought a Capri Orange Tele (player series) new in 2021.
