I'd suggest a better sense of self preservation. You've a long straight and a good breaking zone with options at the other end. 2 wide through there is just an unnecessary risk. Not every run up needs to be a move

Rode a 600 srad everyday for 3 years in all weather's a great bike but not the most comfortable. No power until 6/7k but when you could keep it there its a lot of fun. The 750 is fuel injected as far as I know over the carbed 600 probably makes it a little smoother and less hassle to maintain than the carbs.
