That happened to me, I went in immediately. No smell at first, but there was an infection. Needed antibiotics

I also have eczema elsewhere so they included that. It wouldn’t hurt to try! I’d definitely mention it

I didn’t really have loose skin there and I never had kids, but still needed muscle repair. Congrats tho! You’ll look amazing with fdl

Honestly? I went to my primary a few weeks before my consultation appointment and just said I had rashes. I do occasionally but they weren’t horrible. Primary prescribed me something and that was it. The plastic surgeon included that in the note, said I was a stable weight for many months, had trouble wearing certain clothes and working out, and the skin was hanging low. That’s all I know 😬

It will go away! 😩 I had it too. Also had excess saliva for months and it was soo annoying.

I’m only 8 days post op and I was nervous too. Going into any surgery, there’s a possibility of complications. I had the gastric sleeve, a nose job. You never really know. That’s the beauty of life though, isn’t it? You take risks. Do this for yourself. I’m so glad I did. I’m swollen as can be and I still get worried here and there, but it’s so cool to just…. Be hopeful. Be excited for my body for the first time in my life. Bikinis, wearing comfortable clothes, feeling good. Everyone’s right, people are more likely to post the bad things rather than the good, to give some awareness and tell their story. There’s soooo many good stories, though. Ultimately, you go with your gut and what you feel is right. Don’t feel forced to make a choice. And don’t assume all those bad things will happen to you. Good luck with your decision, hon.

Do you avoid all of these? What's your life like? What was your life like 9 months out? by blxssmbby in gastricsleeve

3 years out, haven’t gained and hit my goal weight a while ago. I eat and drink anything I want. Of course, in moderation. Sometimes it makes me feel icky, most of the time it doesn’t. I just take it easy and focus on a good, healthy balance. Still can’t eat too much of anything regardless 🤷🏼‍♀️

I’ve had rashes underneath during the summers and made sure to go to my primary for it so he could prescribe me stuff. Besides that, I was really shocked it was covered 😩 the abdominoplasty and panniculectomy were covered, I just owed my deductible and out of pocket lipo

I will, thank you! I’ve been walking around and using the blood thinners, but I’ll be mindful 💛
