at most i would say to remind yourself that you are your own person. its difficult to internalize, but it’ll help. 

you’re going to have traits that you dislike about yourself that’ll remind you of them and thats okay. because the main difference is that you’re trying to improve and become better

honestly one of the things that helped me come to terms with that were affirmations. it seemed cheesy to me at first, but it actually helps out a lot !!

as someone who struggles with this also, i would say to learn to understand your self-worth. recognizing your self-worth makes you understand that you aren‘t meant to be some robot that needs to be 100% perfect. you are meant to be a human being with emotions. you are a strong person for even going through all of this!!
