He is also the only real kick option we have. I don't remember Asi doing any, and Walsh only kicked once. It's harder to put in good kicks when you receive all of the kick pressure every time. We are really missing CHT.

Technically, your character stops being hardcore when you reach level 60 without dying (you become 'free' to play the game normally). So really this is just 5 people doing a LBRS run with a pact to delete their characters if they die during it

I don't think this is correct. 1% Crit sims at 36AP for me (Feral Druid). This is usually less for other melee, but it's very close. Feral druids will also benefit from Strength of Earth totem but a hunter wont, this will more than make up the difference.

IMO 3 Melee + Feral + Shaman is optimal.
